The ingestion self-test is a single endpoint that checks the connection between a Dawiso instance and the Dawiso Ingestion cloud, for example, when data integration jobs fail to authenticate.
Send a GET request to /api/data-integration/configuration/self-test with an admin account. The response reports the connection’s authentication health and clock skew.
Instances migrate to the asymmetric-key authentication automatically within a day of upgrading. authPath shows jwks on an up-to-date instance without any manual action.
Response fields
| Field | Description | Values |
|---|---|---|
authPath | Which authentication path the instance uses. | See below |
tokenAcquired | Whether a fresh access token could be acquired from the ingestion cloud right now. | boolean |
error | Error message when token acquisition or the clock probe failed. | string |
clockSkewSeconds | Absolute clock difference between the instance and the cloud, in seconds. | number |
skewVerdict | Overall verdict on clock skew severity. | See below |
authPath values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
jwks | The instance uses the asymmetric-key authentication. |
legacy | The instance uses the older stored-credential authentication. |
skewVerdict values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
ok | Clock skew under 60 seconds. |
warn | Clock skew of 60 seconds or more. |
fail | Clock skew of 150 seconds or more. |
unknown | The ingestion cloud is unreachable. |
A clock skew of 150 seconds or more can break authentication tokens. When skewVerdict is fail, synchronize the instance clock before investigating other causes.
