Data Lineage Diagram
In this release, we have rolled out several key enhancements for working with the Data Lineage diagram.
- Now when delete incoming & outgoing flows there is no need to confirm the deletion thanks to the Undo & Redo actions introduced in the previous update. We have removed the delete confirmation buttons.
- “Expand to depth” option has been renamed to “Precise expand”. The functionality remains unchanged.
Table of Objects
On the main overview pages, the object type column in table of objects has been updated with icons of object types for improved visualization. Refer to the example of the space overview page. 👇
Explorer
Explorer has been enhanced to provide you with a better experience while using it. The extra click previously required to access the object hierarchy was eliminated. Now, when you click a space or application to view the space-app overview page, the object hierarchy immediately appears in the left panel. We reviewed your requests and rolled back the improvements made in the last release.
Open and Close Panels
On Dawiso, as Data Governance platform, various attributes are displayed on the page. At times, you might not want to view them all. To optimize your work experience, we have added the ability to hide the values of certain attributes. For this, there is an arrow next to each attribute. With this improvement, by clicking the upward arrow, the attribute’s panel will close, and by clicking the downward arrow, it will reopen. This improvement concerns object page only.
Changes made to the attribute panel’s visibility will be retained when you revisit the same object or open the same object type. For instance, if you previously closed the panel, it will remain closed the next time you open this object type. For more information on the Open and Close Panels functionality refer to our user guide.
Embedded Text
When attributing the value of other objects, you have now the option to embed the object name. Once saved, the object name will display as embedded text. For more information on Embedded functionality refer to our user guide.
