Ingestions

In this release, we are introducing the Ingestion functionality, enabling administrators to integrate your data into Dawiso. We offer a variety of providers, to which you can connect and subsequently create a data source. We are consistently expanding our integration capabilities. Currently there are several out-of-the-box metadata scanners and we are in the process of adding more. We are supporting GraphQL querying within the connector.

Entity Relationship Diagram

We have implemented the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) as an additional entity representation option. Now, you have more choices for displaying your data. The complete Entity Relationship Diagram user guide is currently in progress.

Embedded Diagram

We have enhanced the embedding process. Now you can embed existing diagrams into your text (be it a description, summary, or content) right in the text editor. Simply type a forward slash ”/” in the text field to see the available options. Select Diagram, find  the desired diagram, and confirm.

Data Lineage Diagram

We have added the “Smart expand” feature, which unfolds the diagram as far as possible while ensuring it remains visually pleasing (especially with large branching). In other words, the functionality refers to the possibility of expanding certain flows of a diagram to show related entities (such as tables, columns etc.) as detailed as you need for your work. For this just select the depth.

AI-Powered Writing

  • AI Writing Feature: We have integrated AI Writing into our Text Editor, accessible via the Dawiso AI icon in the toolbar. This tool provides spell, grammar, style checks and much more.
  • Shortcut Activation: Initiate AI writing quickly by typing forward slash ”/” in the text field and selecting “Help me write.”
  • Toggle Switch for Summary Generation: A new toggle switch in the text editor enables AI-generated summary texts based on attribute values. Disabling the switch keeps the generated text, allowing for manual editing in the Summary field.

Mass-edit attributes in API-tables

Now you have an option to mass-edit attributes in any API-table.

Marketplace

The new Marketplace option is available in the Settings. From that, you can install applications from a pre-prepared set of applications (packages) in the cloud.

Add relations to Excel import

In this release, we introduce the improvement of the Import feature. Now you can import also the relations while importing in Excel format.
