March, 2025

We’re excited to bring you the Dawiso 2025.2 release! This update introduces a set of powerful new features, enhancements, and performance improvements across the platform.

Diagrams are now more dynamic and easier to navigate, while data integration processes have been optimized for speed and clarity. We’ve also added new configuration to packages, and improved diagrams.

Read on for a full overview of what’s new and what’s improved.

New Features

Diagrams

Dynamic Value Recalculation

Previously, once a diagram was saved, it became static and couldn’t be updated. Now, when the base diagram changes (e.g., updated data types or additional incoming relations), you can refresh it by opening the object and clicking Update.

Diagram Tab Selection Restored

We’ve reverted to tab selection for diagrams instead of using a dropdown for better navigation.

Platform Enhancements and Optimizations

Adding Child Objects via Tables

When adding a new child object using the + icon in a table, the parent object is now immediately visible for better clarity of the object path.

Data Ingestion Performance Optimization

Overall data ingestion processes have been improved for faster, more efficient operation.

ER Diagrams

Entity relations are now shown precisely at the column level, making it clear which columns serve as foreign keys.

Improved Search Experience

Tooltips that appeared when hovering over objects in advanced search have been removed, streamlining the UX/UI experience.

New Packages Configurations

Excel Export Exclusion

You can now specify which attributes, relations, or user relations should be excluded from an Excel export. Previously, this was only configurable at the template level.

The new disable_excel_object_export feature can be configured globally (on the asset level) or for a specific object type.

This feature complements the existing disable_excel_template_export feature, which excludes the attributes, relations, or user relations from the Excel export template.

Excel Export Filtering

It’s now possible to filter Excel exports by app and space. Simply add the export_use_space_app_object_type_check setting to the spaces asset, specifying the relevant space using the space path property.
