New Features

Automations

In the previous release, we introduced automated actions. This feature has now been further expanded with a wider variety of triggers, streams, and, most importantly, actions. You can now automate not only workflow states changes, Tableau writeback, but also attribute changes, and notifications.

New additions include:

  • Triggers: comment change, user relation change
  • Streams: child select, user object relation select, select object in relation
  • Actions: send notifications, change attribute

For more information, refer to our developer documentation on Automation Rules.

Conceptual Modeling

A big addition to Dawiso in this patch is conceptual modeling, which allows you to visually design and structure data relationships.

Conceptual models consist of a set of shapes and lines that can be added to diagram. They will be available as part of all standard Business Glossaries and can be added to any existing applications.

Platform Enhancements and Optimizations

Diagrams: Objects Move

When you hold the mouse wheel to move the canvas, only the canvas itself will shift. Other individual elements like tables, folders, notes, and other objects will remain stationary. This behavior is consistent across all diagram types.

Licenses Overview

To help you manage your Dawiso usage more effectively, we’ve introduced a new Licenses overview section in your account. This feature provides a clear summary of your active licenses, including the type of plan, activation dates, and duration of each license. Understanding your license status ensures uninterrupted access to features and helps with compliance and renewal planning.

You can access this overview by navigating to your profile settings and selecting Licenses under the General category.

UI Scaling Optimization

This release introduces several improvements to the overall user interface for better clarity and usability. The overall page scale has been adjusted to 80%, creating a lighter visual weight and a more balanced, focused workspace.

Packages Configuration

You can now ensure that objects cannot be moved when in a specified workflow state. Use the following features to disable the option to move objects:
