The My customizations screen shows every layout you can use on each customizable surface, and which one is in use right now.
Open it from the top-right Profile icon, then select My customizations.
Screen sections
The screen has one block per customizable surface:
- Homepage layout: The arrangement of widgets on your home page.
- Navigation order: The order of items in the left menu.
- Navigation nesting: Which items are nested under another in the left menu. See Customize navigation to reorder or nest items.
- Space order: The order of Spaces in the Explorer.
Each block lists, under Available layouts, every layout you can use on that surface. The one currently in effect carries a Used by you badge.
Table filter presets appear in a separate block at the bottom. They’re personal only, so they have no levels to switch between. See Table filter presets.
The rows in a block
- Automatic: Let Dawiso pick for you. The row shows which layout that currently resolves to, so you can see what you would get.
- My own: The layout you arranged yourself. This row appears only once you have edited that surface.
- One row per published layout you are entitled to: A group layout, a role layout, a layout published to everyone, or the platform default. Each shows its version and the note the administrator left.
Switch to a different layout
Select Use this on the row you want. The Used by you badge moves to it.
What you choose stays chosen. A layout you selected yourself keeps applying even after an administrator publishes a new layout at a higher-priority level. It also applies over a layout of your own.
Select Use this on the Automatic row to drop your choice and let Dawiso pick for you again. Automatic also switches your own layout off, so the surface follows what your administrator published.
Choosing a published layout takes precedence over the layout you arranged yourself. Your own layout isn’t deleted. It stays in the list, and you can return to it with Use this on the My own row.
What Automatic resolves to
Automatic skips your own layout. Selecting it switches yours off. Dawiso then applies the most specific published layout that reaches you, using this order of precedence:
| Layout type | Description |
|---|---|
| Group layout | Layout published to a user group the user belongs to. |
| Role layout | Layout published to the user’s license role. |
| Layout for everyone | Layout published to all users. |
| Platform default | No published layout available, so Dawiso uses its built-in arrangement. |
Delete your own layout
The My own row has a trash can icon. Deleting removes your layout permanently; the surface then follows whichever row you select next.
Preview a layout
Select Preview on any published layout to see it applied to the live screen without switching to it. A banner confirms you’re previewing, and Customize is unavailable: previewing is read-only.
The banner offers two ways out:
- Use this: Apply the previewed layout and end the preview. You stay on the screen you are on.
- Exit preview: Return to the screen you opened the preview from, with the layout that is in use back in place.
Table filter presets
The Table filter presets block at the bottom of the screen lists the filter sets you’ve saved on data tables. Presets are personal only: there’s nothing to publish or switch between.
Each preset shows:
- The table it belongs to, and when it was created or last updated
- An Active / Disabled toggle to turn the preset on or off
- A trash can icon to delete the preset
